Considering private colleges in California with easier admissions

I'm currently weighing my options for college, and I've been particularly considering private colleges in California. Which ones should I be looking at if I prefer ones where admission is somewhat 'easier'? I know it's kind of a broad question, but any pointers would be appreciated!

Certainly, there are a number of excellent private colleges in California with less competitive admissions than some of the very selective institutions. Please note, however, that while admission might be 'easier' in terms of statistics like GPA and test scores, these colleges still review applications holistically and seek students who will contribute positively to their campus.

1. The University of San Francisco (USF) is a great option if you're interested in the city life. It's a Jesuit institution with a strong focus on social justice and community service.

2. Whittier College, located in a suburb of Los Angeles, offers an exceptional liberal arts education in a smaller, more intimate environment.

3. Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles has a strong focus on empowering women (though it's co-ed at the graduate level) and offers a range of undergraduate programs.

4. Known for their great business programs, both Santa Clara University and Loyola Marymount University have good reputations and are situated in vibrant California cities (Santa Clara and Los Angeles, respectively).

5. If you're leaning towards the sciences, Cal Lutheran is a good option with strong programs in biology and psychology and it's located in Thousand Oaks, a suburb of Los Angeles.

These are a few examples to consider. It's a good idea to research further based on your specific interests, program preference and financial needs to find the perfect fit for you. Remember that choosing a college is not only about getting admitted, but also about how well the school can help you to achieve your academic and career goals. A "less competitive" school might be the best platform for you to shine and thrive.
