Easiest Summer Classes in College

I am wanting to take a couple of classes over the summer term to speed up my graduation process. However, I also want to have some free time during my summer break. Can y'all recommend me some courses that are relatively easy in the summer semester?

First of all, remember that what's considered "easy" varies significantly depending on your strengths, interests, and previous academic experiences. That being said, there are some universally acknowledged "lighter" courses that many students find manageable over a short and intense summer term.

One popular option is introductory language courses. Taking a beginner level of a new language over the summer can be engaging, fun, and sometimes easier than in-depth content-heavy courses. Basic Spanish, French, and Italian tend to be favorites due to their applicability and relative ease of absorption for English speakers.

Additionally, general education requirements often include a wide variety of classes that are less intense and provide a breather from your major coursework. Courses such as Art Appreciation, Introduction to Psychology, and other intro-level humanities and social sciences can be a good fit for a summer semester.

Finally, consider exploring a completely new area that interests you personally - this could decrease the perceived "load" of the course. For instance, if you're into music, consider a Music Appreciation course. If you're into movies, a Film Studies course could be interesting and easy.

Hope this helps! Remember to keep a balanced schedule that allows you to rest and recharge for fall. Good luck!
