Least Rigorous Colleges to Earn a Degree?

I can't seem to shake off the stress surrounding college admissions. So, I've been considering going to a college where I wouldn't have to stress too much about getting my degree. Can anyone recommend colleges that are easier to graduate from? Any guidance would be much appreciated!

It's perfectly okay to prioritize a low-stress environment—college can be demanding and it's crucial to choose a college where you'll feel comfortable and be able to enjoy your college life. Rather than focusing on colleges that are "easier" to graduate from, though, I would recommend looking for colleges that have a more supportive learning environment, accessible resources, and small class sizes, which can lead to lower stress levels and a higher graduation rate.

For example, colleges with a strong emphasis on teaching and student support like Allegheny College, Goucher College, and Knox College might be great choices. These colleges typically offer close-knit communities and focus on undergrad teaching. For a more mid-sized university experience, you might consider schools like Roger Williams University, which offers a lot in terms of student support and programs for success.

However, keep in mind that what makes a college experience less stressful can be extremely personal. It might also be a good idea to look at colleges with good mental health services and a focus on work-life balance rather than academic rigor alone. You may wish to reach out to current students or alumni to really understand the culture and stress levels at each institution. College should be both an academic and a personal growth journey, so you'll want to choose a place that feels like a good fit for you across many dimensions. Good luck with your college search!
