Best Gen Eds to take at the University of Arizona?

Hello, guys! I'm a junior doing some forward planning for college and I'm currently looking at the University of Arizona. I was wondering, what are the least difficult Gen Ed classes you'd say to take there? I mean, I'll still work hard irrespective of the difficulty level, but just curious to know how I could balance my schedule effectively. Thanks in advance!

Hello! It's great you're getting ahead with your college planning. In terms of General Education (Gen Eds) classes at the University of Arizona, there's a wide range to choose from, and the difficulty can really vary depending on your strengths and interests.

If you're a fan of history and interested in diverse cultures, RELI160D3: "World Religions" comes highly recommended. It gives you a broad overview of various global religious traditions, and is often praised for its engaging content and approachable assignments.

If you're looking for something in the natural sciences, consider taking GEOS 101: "Introduction to Planet Earth." The course is known for being straightforward and interesting, providing an overview of how Earth's processes function.

Another class that frequently comes up is PSY 101: "Introduction to Psychology". It lays a solid foundation for understanding how the human mind works and is generally considered engaging. It's lecture-based and complemented by fairly straightforward exams.

For more humanities-focused students, ENGL 102 or 108 (First-Year Composition) tend to be straightforward as long as you follow the writing prompts and do the reading assignments.

One thing to keep in mind is that personal preference and aptitude can often determine what you find difficult or easy. A good rule of thumb is to balance your harder courses with ones that come more easily to you or that you find intriguing. This should make for a less stressful and more enjoyable semester. Good luck with your plans!
