List of hardest majors in university, anyone?

Hey, I'm a high school junior and I'm starting to think about what I want to major in. I'm curious - what are the hardest majors out there in university? Why do you think they’re considered the most challenging?

1. Engineering (any discipline): Engineering programs are known for their intense math and science requirements and practical application of complex concepts. Whether it's Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical or Aerospace, students often describe their workload as heavy, with many hours spent on problem sets and laboratory projects.

2. Physics: Another major known for its mathematical intensity, Physics encompasses the study of the natural laws governing the universe. Students often engage in mathematical modeling and experimental investigation, both of which require a deep understanding of complex principles.

3. Mathematics: This major isn't just about crunching numbers. Advanced coursework in realms like abstract algebra, real analysis, and differential equations demands a high level of critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

4. Biochemistry or Biophysics: These intersectional fields combine biology, chemistry, and physics to examine the biological systems on a molecular level. These majors require a lot of lab work and comprehension of complex biological and chemical principles.
