Does anyone know the minimum ASVAB scores for different military branches?

Hi guys, I'm a junior in high school and considering a career in the military. Could anyone tell me the minimum ASVAB scores required for different military branches? My plan is to start studying for it soon, and I wanna know what scores to shoot for.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a series of tests that helps determine your eligibility for enlistment in the military and what Military Occupational Specialties (MOS) you could be best suited for.

Here are the minimum ASVAB scores for the different branches of the military:

1. Army: The minimum ASVAB score to enlist in the Army is a 30. It means that you need to score at least 30 out of 99 on the AFQT (Armed Forces Qualification Test) portion of the ASVAB.

2. Navy: For the Navy, the minimum ASVAB score is a 35 with a high school diploma. If you have a GED, you'll need a score of 50.

3. Air Force: The Air Force requires a minimum ASVAB score of 31 with a high school diploma. If you have a GED, it requires a higher score of 50.

4. Marines: The Marine Corps requires a minimum AFQT score of 32.

5. Coast Guard: The Coast Guard requires a minimum ASVAB score of 36 for high school graduates and 50 for GED holders.

6. Space Force: As a part of the Department of the Air Force, the Space Force has similar standards to the Air Force. While there hasn't been a specific ASVAB score designated as the minimum for the Space Force, you can generally expect it to align with the Air Force's standards.

Keep in mind you'll need to score higher if you want work in a technical field or if you want to qualify for certain enlistment bonuses. It's always a good idea to aim for a high score above the minimum! Good luck with your studying and potential military career!
