Indiana University's toughest classes?

Hey everyone, I'm looking into Indiana University for college. I'm curious about what classes are notoriously difficult there? Trying to get a heads up so I'm not blindsided when I start. Thanks in advance!

The difficulty of classes at Indiana University can vary widely depending on your specific major or if you're taking a class outside of your comfort zone. However, some classes have acquired a bit of a reputation over the years. One such notorious class is CHEM-C 117, Principles of Chemistry and Biochemistry I. This is a foundational course for many science-based majors, and the content can be quite challenging.

Another one is BIOL-L 111, which is an introductory course to Biology. It covers a broad range of topics and requires quite a bit of memorization.

On the business side of things, BUS-K 201, The Computer in Business, or A100, Basic Accounting Skills, in the Kelley School of Business are considered quite demanding due to the comprehensive coverage of concepts in a short time frame.

Lastly, for humanities majors, HIST-H 105, American History I can be pretty tough due to its writing-intensive nature and the amount of readings required.

Remember, the perceived difficulty of a class can be quite subjective and relies a lot on individual strengths and weaknesses. So, it's best to make use of the resources available to you, such as office hours, tutoring centers, study guides, and group study sessions. Good luck in your college journey!
