New York State boasts several noteworthy architecture programs that could be a great fit for your interests and goals.

1. Cornell University: Located in Ithaca, The Cornell University College of Architecture, Art, and Planning is known for its strong B.Arch program. It has a rigorous program that's consistently ranked as one of the top architecture programs in the nation.

2. Columbia University: In New York City, you'll find Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. Now, while Columbia does not have an undergraduate architecture program, they do offer an 'Architecture Studies' track within the Art History major that could serve as a fantastic foundation for a future Master's in Architecture.

3. Pratt Institute: Also located in NYC, Pratt's School of Architecture offers a range of programs including a B.Arch and several Master's degrees. This program is known for its intensive studio culture and interdisciplinary approach.

4. Syracuse University: The School of Architecture at Syracuse University offers both undergraduate and graduate programs. Their five-year B.Arch program is quite competitive and encourages both theoretical and practical exploration of architectural design.

5. City College of New York (CCNY): The Spitzer School of Architecture at CCNY offers a B.Arch and several Master’s programs. The CCNY architecture program is known for its commitment to sustainable design.

Each of these programs has unique strengths and their own approach to architectural education! Research each thoroughly, consider visiting the campuses (if possible), and see how their curriculum aligns with your interests. Remember, supplemental essays may ask 'Why this major at our college?', so having specific courses and faculty members that appeal to you in mind could be of great help during the application process.
