Branch That Operates Blackhawks

I saw a movie recently with Blackhawk helicopters and got to wondering, which branch of the military manages these? Is it Army or something else? I'm thinking about looking into aviation-related roles in the military after graduation.

The UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter is largely operated by the United States Army. They use these versatile helicopters for various missions including air assault, air cavalry, and medevac operations. In fact, the Blackhawk was designed to fulfill a requirement by the Army for a tactical transport aircraft.

However, it's important to note that other branches of the military also use variations of the Blackhawk, such as the Air Force, which operates a model known as the HH-60 Pave Hawk for combat search and rescue missions. The Navy has its variant known as the Seahawk for anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface warfare, and naval special warfare insertion, among other uses.

If you're interested in aviation-related roles in the military, each branch has its unique focus and types of aircraft. I would recommend doing some research into each branch to understand both the basic requirements to become a pilot and the specific aircraft and mission profiles associated with each.
