Insight on Stevenson University

Hey, folks! So, Stevenson University came up during one of my guidance counseling sessions, and I found it kind of interesting. Anyone around here who can give a low-down on their experiences there?

Stevenson University, based in Owings Mills, Maryland, is a well-rounded institution focusing on pre-professional and professional areas of study. It has a strong emphasis on practical, experiential learning which can be pretty valuable in preparing you for the job market. These opportunities include internships, study abroad programs, and service learning that intensify the academic experience.

Business, nursing, and criminal justice are some of the top majors, but they offer a wide range of programs. Their nursing program, in particular, often gets rave reviews, as students often commend the robust curriculum and the supportive faculty who are dedicated to their growth.

Generally, the student-to-faculty ratio is quite favorable, averaging around 14:1. This means classes are relatively small, allowing for ample one-on-one attention and fostering a more personalized learning environment. It also promotes a close-knit campus community where students often form strong relationships with their professors.
