Any Thomas University GA students here?

I'm really considering Thomas University in Georgia as it seems to have solid programs. Are there any current students or alumni who can provide first-hand experiences about life at this university?

Answer: I'm not a Thomas University student, but I've had experience working with students who attended. They've highlighted a few key aspects that really set the university apart.

The small student population of around 1200 means that students have intimate class sizes and have a lot of one-on-one time with professors. This might be a significantly different experience from bigger schools and could be worth considering if a close-knit community is something you're looking for.

They've also mentioned that the faculty and staff members are generally very supportive and willing to help students succeed. They've talked about how professors know students by name and are always available during office hours to assist in any way.

The various fields of study have also gathered praise, particularly the nursing, business administration, and criminal justice programs. If any of those are the program you're interested in, Thomas University could be a good fit.

In terms of student life, the close-knit community often leads to strong friendships and a united student body. The campus is aesthetically pleasing with well-maintained buildings, and there are numerous on-campus events to keep students engaged. However, they've noted that, because of its location in a smaller town, off-campus activities might be a bit limited if you're expecting a bustling city life.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. It might also be worth getting in touch with Thomas University's admissions office to see if they could put you in contact with current students or alumni who can share their experiences. They usually have representative students for such purposes. Best of luck with your decision!
