Looking for Rice University in Houston

I've seen Rice University mentioned a couple of times while looking for potential schools in Texas. Does anyone know where it's located in Houston? And how's the atmosphere there?

Rice University is situated in the Houston Museum District, which presents an atmosphere filled with cultural richness and intellectual stimulation. The university's address is 6100 Main St, Houston, TX 77005, and it's conveniently located near several renowned museums and parks. Proximity to the Texas Medical Center, a world-class healthcare and research hub, can also be an asset for students in the health and sciences fields.

The campus itself is known for its impressive architecture and vast green spaces - one of the highlights being the iconic Lovett Hall. The university is also sheltered by a canopy of oak trees, which lends a calming and serene feel to the campus.

The university's residential college system fosters a close-knit community atmosphere among students. Each of the eleven residential colleges has its own dorms, dining hall, and student government - offering plenty of opportunities to get involved.

In terms of its urban setting, Houston's vibrant and ethnically diverse culinary scene, dynamic arts district, and thriving job market make it a vibrant place for students to explore during their college years. But even though it's located in the fourth-largest city in the U.S., Rice's enclosed, idyllic campus often feels a world away from the metropolitan hustle and bustle.

Hope this gives you a feel for the kind of environment Rice University offers!
