Trying to locate Rochester Institute of Technology

I'm a tech-minded person thinking of applying to Rochester Institute of Technology. Anybody out there who knows where it is? How's the school spirit/campus vibe there?

Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) is located in Henrietta, a suburb of Rochester, in the Finger Lakes region of New York State. It's about six miles south of downtown Rochester. Many students praise the school for its focus on practicality and real-world applications of the technologies studied, with additional opportunities through its strong co-op program.

As for the campus vibe, it can be described as innovative, collaborative, and diverse. Many students are tech-oriented and interested in making things, which contributes to a proactive and creatively driven campus environment. From what I've heard, students at RIT are generally very enthusiastic about their particular major or program of study. This, in turn, creates a sense of shared purpose and community among students.

Moreover, being located in a suburban area, the school maintains a balance between a quiet, tranquil setting for studying and relatively easy access to the urban activities that Rochester offers.
