Considering finance for undergrad - Recommendations for top schools?

Sup y'all, I'm a junior seriously considering a major in finance, and I'm wondering what the best undergrad programs are for this field? I'd really appreciate any advice or personal experiences!

Among your top choices for undergraduate finance programs, you should consider The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, which is well-known for being a powerhouse in business education. The finance program here is very comprehensive, and students often secure competitive internships and job placements after graduation.

Another good choice is the Stern School of Business at New York University. Being in the financial center of New York City provides students with excellent networking opportunities and internships. NYU also offers a number of finance-specific scholarships.

University of Michigan's Ross School of Business should also be on your radar. Its Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is quite flexible, allowing you to take interdisciplinary courses and explore other interests as well.

Also consider the Mendoza College of Business at Notre Dame. The financial courses here are designed to provide students with a wide-range of skills, including corporate finance, investment management, and banking.

Lastly, Indiana University's Kelley School of Business is also highly ranked for finance and offers a variety of finance specialty degrees that allow students to specialize in areas such as wealth management or risk management.

Remember, ranking isn't everything. Make sure to consider other factors such as location, financial aid, student life, and opportunities for internships or co-op experiences. Be sure to reach out to alumni or current students of these programs to get their perspective and don't forget to consider if you see yourself fitting into the culture of that school. Good luck with your college search!
