Looking for Info on the Biggest Colleges in NY

Hi! I'm a New Yorker who's thinking about staying in-state for school and I'm just curious about the biggest colleges here. Can anyone tell me about them? I'm talking student population, campus size, big name programs. All of it!

Sure, I'd be happy to provide some information on a few of the biggest colleges in New York.

First off, we have New York University (NYU), located in the heart of Manhattan. NYU has a total undergraduate enrollment of around 29,700 students. It's fairly well-known for programs in Business, Film, and Performing Arts. The campus is integrated right into the city, so rather than having a strict border, NYU's buildings are spread throughout Greenwich Village.

Next, there's SUNY Buffalo, which has an undergraduate enrollment of approximately 22,000 students. This public university has the largest single-campus enrollment in the state of New York. The campus takes up about 1,350 acres of land. It's known for its strong programs in Engineering, Management, and Law.

The University at Albany, SUNY also has a significant enrollment of around 13,000 undergraduates. Its campus spans over 600 acres. UAlbany is recognized for its School of Criminal Justice and the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs & Policy.

Cornell University in Ithaca is another large college in New York, with a total undergraduate population of around 14,300 students. The campus size is a vast 745 acres. While Cornell is highly regarded in general, it is particularly distinguished for its Architecture, Engineering, Hotel Administration, and Industrial Labor Relations programs.

Each of these schools offers a unique experience, so I'd suggest visiting each campus, if possible, to see which one feels like the right fit for you.
