Military's use of jets - Which branch is it?

Hey guys, I've always been dazzled by the speed and power of jets, and I'm thinking about pursuing a career in a military branch that uses them. Could anyone help me figure out which branch of the military mainly uses jets?

The U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Navy are the primary branches that use military jet aircraft.

The Air Force is typically known for its extensive use of jets, and they classify their jets into five main categories: fighter jets, bomber jets, attack jets, electronic warfare jets, and trainer jets. Some well-known Air Force jets include the F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-22 Raptor, and B-2 Spirit.

On the other hand, the Navy uses jets for both air-to-air combat and ground-attack missions. But, their jets are distinctively built to take off and land on aircraft carriers. The F/A-18 Super Hornet and the EA-18G Growler are widely used naval aircraft.

You might want to consider the Marine Corps as well, which operates the AV-8B Harrier II and F-35B Lightning II, among others. These jets are used for close air support and air defense missions.

Each of these branches has unique training programs and operational requirements. I would encourage you to research each branch's aviation program to see which best aligns with your career goals.
