Hi everyone. I've seen some sci-fi stuff recently and it got me thinking. Hypothetically, if there was a space branch of the military, what would it be called?
Interestingly, the U.S. actually already has a space branch of the military, and it's called the United States Space Force. Established in 2019, the Space Force is responsible for organizing, training, and equipping personnel to protect U.S. and allied interests in space. They monitor ballistic missile launches, track space debris, and maintain satellites that facilitate communication for the other branches of the military. Despite sounding like something out of a sci-fi movie, it's indeed a real branch of the United States military!
