Help with Syracuse application deadlines?

Super nervous high school junior here. Syracuse University is top on my list, but getting a bit overwhelmed with the application process. Could someone give me a breakdown of their application deadlines (Early decision, Regular admission, etc.)? Would appreciate any help!

Absolutely, don't worry, I'm here to help you! Syracuse University follows a slightly different timeline than some other schools, so I'll break it down for you, as per the most recent information available (please cross-verify from the official website as well):

1. Early Decision I: The application deadline for Early Decision I is November 15. If you apply by this deadline, you can expect to receive your admission decision by mid-December.

2. Early Decision II: Similar to Early Decision I, Early Decision II requires a binding commitment to attend if admitted. The application deadline is January 5 and decisions are typically released by the end of February.

3. Regular Decision: The deadline for Regular Decision is January 5 as well, but decisions come out a bit later, around mid-March.

Remember that Early Decision is a binding agreement — if you are accepted, you are committed to attend Syracuse and must withdraw all applications to other schools.

Keep in mind, for all deadlines, financial aid information traditionally follows the admission decision by a few days to a week.

Good luck with your application process. Aim to submit your application a couple of days before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical issues!
