Absolutely, Dallas has several universities with a wide range of opportunities both academically and extracurricularly. Here are a few:

1. Southern Methodist University (SMU): Located in the heart of Dallas, SMU offers a vibrant academic environment with more than a hundred majors and is particularly recognized for its business, arts, and engineering programs. The campus is often buzzing with extracurricular activities, from sports events to guest lectures, and more than 200 student clubs and organizations.

2. University of Texas at Dallas (UTD): Not far from downtown Dallas, UTD is well-regarded for its strong programs in science, engineering, and business. This research-oriented university also encourages students to engage in numerous clubs and student-run organizations. Additionally, UTD offers a variety of intramural sports, cultural festivals, and research opportunities for undergraduates.

3. Texas Woman's University (TWU Dallas): Primarily a choice for those interested in health sciences as it offers degrees like Nursing and Occupational Therapy amongst others. It boasts a strong sense of community and numerous student organizations and service initiatives.

4. University of North Texas at Dallas (UNTD): Is the fastest-growing public university in Texas, offering programs in business, education, science, and more. UNTD emphasizes experiential learning and community service, and students participate in a range of clubs and organizations.

Remember, the best way to get a feel for these universities is to visit their campuses, talk to students and faculty, and explore the surrounding cities.
