Online business courses for high school students?

Hey everyone, junior here getting into the college grind. I've got a strong interest in business and entrepreneurship, and I'm wondering if there are any legit online business courses that I, as a high school student, could take to beef up my resume and gain some skills. Has anyone taken one they’d recommend? Also, would colleges see this as a valuable thing? Looking for some advice to plan out my summer!

Hey there! It's fantastic that you're pursuing your interests in business and entrepreneurship. I'd recommend checking out online offerings from accredited universities that sometimes have summer programs for high school students. For example, Wharton's Summer High School Programs are highly regarded. Coursera and edX also offer courses from top universities and can be taken for free or for a certificate. These courses can be a significant resume booster when they show initiative and a passion for learning outside the traditional classroom environment. Additionally, if you create a project or start-up from what you've learned in these courses, that could serve as an impressive talking point in your applications. Remember to check if credits are transferable or recognized officially if you're looking for that extra validation. Colleges do appreciate students who go the extra mile to develop their skills, especially when it aligns with your intended field of study. Just make sure to balance it with some downtime too—it's important to stay refreshed and not burn out. Enjoy your summer learning!
