What's campus life like at Worcester Polytechnic Institute?

I'm currently in the stressful process of college selection (yeah, don't remind me). Worcester Polytechnic Institute has caught my eye, I'm really interested in their science and engineering programs. Anxious to know, is the campus life there supportive and enjoyable? What's the community like?

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has a tight-knit community and a campus atmosphere that many students find to be both academically enriching and fun. The college is highly focused on project-based learning, which extends into the social experience by promoting a cooperative, rather than competitive, environment.
