Opinions on Lindenwood University?

Has anyone here attended Lindenwood University or have some firsthand insight they can share? I'm considering applying there but I'm not seeing a lot of student reviews online. What's the academic environment like? Congenial faculty? Any major pros or cons that you guys can share?

Lindenwood University is a private, not-for-profit institution located in Saint Charles, Missouri. First, let's talk about academics. The faculty is typically quite approachable and invested in student success. Compared to larger universities, the class sizes at Lindenwood are relatively small, which many students find beneficial for personalized attention and deeper engagement in the coursework. Its business administration and management programs are typically well-regarded.

However, be aware that the workload can be somewhat heavy, depending on your major. Like any university, the academic rigor differs greatly among various departments, so your academic experience will be contingent upon your chosen field of study.

In terms of campus life, Lindenwood has a lot to offer. It houses a diverse student population, lending itself to a variety of cultural experiences and perspectives that can enrich your university experience. As for extracurricular activities, students have the option to join numerous clubs and organizations, which can be a great way to connect with fellow students and cultivate interests outside of academics.

On the downside, some students have expressed disappointment with the food options on campus. Furthermore, the campus is relatively isolated, which might be a downside if you're someone who enjoys more urban environments with easy access to a wider range of restaurants, shopping, and entertainment outside of campus. Also, while there is on-campus housing, some students find that the housing options could use some updating in terms of facilities and amenities.

While these traits can shed some light on what you might expect at Lindenwood University, it's always a good idea to visit the campus if you have the opportunity to do so. A campus visit can provide you with a firsthand feel of the school’s ambiance and give you a better sense of whether or not it's the right fit for you.
