How is the University of South Florida?

I've been browsing through potential universities and the University of South Florida popped up. From an academics perspective, culture, student life, housing etc., how is it? Anyone with first-hand experience there?

The University of South Florida (USF) is a large public research university that offers a variety of academic opportunities for undergraduate students. With over 180 undergraduate majors, it is wide-ranging in its offerings, allowing students to have a comprehensive range of subjects to choose from. Notably, it is particularly lauded for its programs in public health, engineering, and marine biology.

In terms of culture and student life, USF is diverse with a vibrant and active student body. There are numerous student organizations, clubs, and recreational activities that cater to a wide range of interests. A common saying at USF is, "There's a club for that!" USF also competes in NCAA Division I sports as part of the American Athletic Conference, which adds to the overall campus spirit.
