Question about Maximum SAT Score

Hello, I'm starting to prep for the SAT and I've been wondering what's the maximum score that one can get. I know the grading scale has changed a bit over the years. What's the current highest score you can get on the SAT? Thanks!

The current highest score you can get on the SAT is 1600. This score is split across two sections: the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing section, and the Math section. Each of these sections is scored on a scale from 200 to 800, and their two scores are then combined for your total.

Keep in mind that while a perfect score is certainly an impressive achievement, colleges consider many other factors in addition to standardized test scores. So while it's important to aim for the best score you can on the SAT, it's also essential to balance your time and energy with your coursework, extracurricular activities, and other components of the college application process.

Best of luck with your SAT preparation and remember, consistent practice and review of the material is key to doing well on the test.
