Most ships in a military branch?

So, I've been thinking about life after high school and the Navy has caught my attention because of my interest in marine life and sea travel. My question is, out of all our military branches, which has the most ships?

The United States Navy actually has the most ships of any branch in the US military. As of recent reports, the Navy has about 490 ships in active service or reserve. This includes a wide variety of vessels such as aircraft carriers, submarines, cruisers, destroyers, and support ships. Keep in mind that if you're interested in marine life and sea travel, the Navy can offer excellent opportunities both in terms of vocation and education. Depending on your role, you might serve directly on one of these ships, or you could support them in another capacity. Each role has its own requirements and training process, so if that’s a path you're considering, it would be beneficial to do a bit more research or speak with a recruiter to get detailed information about what might be a good fit for your interests and skills.
