Armstrong University, or more accurately Armstrong State University, no longer exists as a stand-alone institution. The University System of Georgia Board of Regents consolidated Armstrong State University with Georgia Southern University in 2018. The Savannah campus of Georgia Southern University was formerly Armstrong State University.
