Albright College Scholarships

Hey guys, just wondering if anyone knows anything about scholarships at Albright College. Really considering applying there, but the cost is of concern. Any advice or info would be awesome, thanks!

Absolutely, I'm glad you're considering your financial options. Albright College offers a range of scholarships for students, including both merit-based scholarships and need-based grants.

Merit-based scholarships are awarded based on academic achievements and do not need to be repaid. They include the Founder's Scholarship, and the Albright Scholarship. The amount can range anywhere from $6,000 to $15,000 per year.

Need-based grants, such as the Pell Grants and Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grants, are also available for those who qualify based on their family's income. These are determined by your FAFSA results, which you'll need to complete as part of your financial aid application.

In addition to these, Albright awards scholarships for specific majors such as arts (creative writing, music, theatre, fashion, and studio art). There are also scholarships for students involved in community service and leadership experiences, as well as for those involved in athletics.

Keep in mind though that each of these scholarships and grants have their own specific eligibility criteria and application processes, so be sure to check the Albright College financial aid website or contact their financial aid office for the most accurate and updated information.

Finally, keep in mind that external scholarships can also be an excellent way to help cover the costs, so I'd strongly recommend exploring those as well. Good luck with your application process!
