Business programs in Virginia colleges?

I've been thinking about studying business in college. I'm from Virginia and I'd love to stay in-state for college if I can. Any recommendations for colleges with good business programs here?

In Virginia, there are several colleges known for their strong business programs.

The University of Virginia (UVA) offers a top-notch business program through the McIntire School of Commerce. It's recognized for its interdisciplinary approach, which blends technology, analytics, strategic thinking, and communication. The program has tracks in marketing, accounting, finance, and management, among others.

The Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech is also an excellent choice. Their business program highlights ethics, global issues, and technology's role in today's business world. They offer several undergraduate majors including Business IT, Finance, and Hospitality and Tourism Management.

Another option is the Mason School of Business at William & Mary, known for its personalized approach to business education. They offer concentrations such as Business Analytics and Business Development & Planning.

College of William & Mary also has a strong business administration program. The business school emphasizes experiential learning opportunities, including internships, field consulting, and study abroad programs.

Also, consider the VCU School of Business in Richmond. The school offers a business program that encourages industry-agnostic problem-solving, innovation, as well as entrepreneurship.

Finally, James Madison University has the College of Business, offering programs including Economics, Marketing, and Finance. The college is AACSB accredited and prides itself on producing graduates who are job-ready from day one.

Please note that choosing a right college depends not only on the strength of the program but also on the school's overall fit, including its culture, size, location, and cost. Make sure to consider all of these factors in your decision-making process!
