Hi guys! I applied Early Action to USC and I'm super anxious about when we're going to hear back. From anyone's past experience or knowledge, when does USC EA typically come out? Thanks in advance!
The University of Southern California (USC) traditionally notifies Early Decision (ED) and scholarship consideration applicants in late January, typically by January 31. However, this is not a strict rule and timing can slightly vary each year. USC does not have an Early Action (EA) program, just to clarify. So if you applied by the December 1st deadline, you're being considered under the Early Decision or scholarship consideration timeline. If you do hear back by the end of January and the news is positive, be prepared to submit your enrollment commitment by February 15th, which is notably earlier than the May 1st deadline for Regular Decision applicants.
Keep in mind, these dates have been the traditional timing in past years and can be subject to change. All official notifications of admission will be sent via postal mail. Until then, try to keep your mind occupied and not stress too much about the decision release, difficult as that may be. Wishing you the best of luck!
