Concern about Montclair Application Timeline

I'm planning on applying to Montclair State University. However, due to certain circumstances, I might only be able to get my application in around May. Do you guys think it is possible or is it too late? What would my chances be like?

Montclair State University uses a rolling admissions process, which means they accept applications until all spots in the incoming class have been filled. However, it's important to be aware that while the application system may technically still be open into May, many undergraduate programs may have already filled their spots, particularly the more popular or competitive ones.

Applying this late could mean that some opportunities, such as specific majors or scholarship options, might no longer be available. It's also worth noting that financial aid could potentially be limited, as certain funds can be exhausted as the application cycle progresses.

Though your chances of getting accepted in May are certainly not zero, they might be reduced as compared to applying earlier in the cycle. If possible, I would recommend reaching out to the admissions office at Montclair to confirm how full their incoming class is, and how applying in May might affect your application. They should be able to provide the most accurate, up-to-date information about your particular situation.

Remember, even if your application timeline isn't ideal, it's still possible to present a strong application. Be sure to highlight your academic achievements, extracurricular involvement, and personal strengths in your application, regardless of when you submit it.
