Description

Ask current Mercer University students questions about academics, campus life, dorm living, and more.

Mercer University has shut down campus visits and tours due to the coronavirus outbreak, and many families are worried about choosing a college without being able to visit in person and get a feel for campus life. In this Q&A session, we'll ask our panel of Mercer University students a series of questions about everything ranging from campus life to athletics to the classroom experience. Webinar attendees will also get to participate in the second half of the Q&A.

Q&A Participants

Ashley Conlon - Ashley is a Studio Art and Spanish double major. She is very involved in the Mercer Mentors program on campus, which connects Mercer students with students in the Bibb County School District, and she is an active photographer in the Macon community, doing work for businesses like Z Beans and Kingfisher Leatherworks. In school, she has been a part of the Leadership Mercer program, the Phi Kappa Phi honor society, and the Mercer Honors Program, as a Service Scholar. For fun, she enjoys cooking and going on outdoor adventures with her friends!

Emily Wilbourn - Emily is a Computer Science major with a Math minor. She is a member of the Binary Bears Programming Team, serves as treasurer for the Society of Women Engineers, and plays saxophone with the Mercer Wind Ensemble. This past semester, she earned a scholarship from the Society of Women Engineers from her involvement with the organization over the past 2 years. On weekends, she is involved with her church playing piano for the children's organization, and when she's not studying, she enjoys learning new pieces on piano and hanging out with her friends.

Natalie Yaeger - Natalie Yaeger is a neuroscience and English double major with minors in chemistry and Spanish on the Pre-Med track. She enjoys volunteering, Mercer’s fried chicken Wednesdays, reading, and ice cream...just to name a few. Her future healthcare goals are to hopefully do an MD/PhD program where she hopes to become a cardiothoracic surgeon specializing in heart transplants. She can’t wait to speak to you all!!
