Lafayette College

Easton, PA
Description

Ask Lafayette admissions officers questions about what it takes to get admitted to Lafayette, their application process, academics, and more.

Lafayette has shut down campus visits and tours due to the coronavirus outbreak, and many families are missing out on the opportunity to learn about the college first hand from admissions staff on campus. Sue and Tony will start the session with an in-depth overview of Lafayette, covering topics ranging from admissions to academics to campus life. In the second half of the session, they'll open the floor to an audience Q&A session and answer your questions about Lafayette admissions, life on campus, and more.

Q&A Participants:

Tony Pace (Southeast Regional Director of Admissions)

Tony Pace has spent more than two decades working in college admissions at private colleges such as Trinity College (CT), College of the Holy Cross (MA), Vanderbilt University (TN). After an extended time with the College Board, Tony returned to the campus in leadership roles at Xavier University (LA), and Southern Connecticut University before joining the Lafayette College staff. Tony currently serves at the Southeast Regional Director of Admissions.

Sue Newquist (Associate Director for Campus Visitation and Events)

For the past 15 years, Sue Newquist has worked at Lafayette College reading applications and interviewing and conducting information sessions with high school students. She visited schools in the Pennsylvania area and most recently took on the role of organizing campus visitation on campus...and now online. Sue and her family raise dogs through The Seeing Eye Program in Morristown, NJ, and you can often see her most recent puppy-in-training accompanying her to work on campus.
