About this livestream

Description

Ask current students majoring in Political Sciences questions about academics, campus life, and more.

Politics sure is a hot topic in the news right now - especially in this election year. But what's it like to be a political science student? In this Q&A session, we'll ask a panel of current Political Sciences majors from a variety of colleges about their experiences in their field. Webinar attendees will also get to participate in the second half of the Q&A.

Q&A Participants:

Brianna Stewart, an Indianapolis, Indiana native, is a rising sophomore in the College of Arts and Science at Vanderbilt University double majoring in political science and theater while on a pre-law tack. In her free time, Brianna is involved with the theater department, mock trial team, Alpha Delta Pi, and was a first-year Commons President (2019-2020). She hopes to leave Vanderbilt prepared to attend law school and (one day) practice criminal or constitutional law.

Kevin Trejos is a rising Senior Finance and Political Science major from Broward County, Florida. On campus he is involved in the Hispanic Student Association - where he serves as Treasurer, Student Government - where he represents the Heavener School of Business and Chairs the Latinx Caucus, the Bob Graham Center - where he is a member of the Student Fellows, and is an active member of Florida Blue Key. Off campus, he serves on the City of Gainesville’s Student Community Relations Advisory Board and previously co-founded the March for Our Lives organization.

Spencer is a rising senior from Rye Brook, New York in the Trinity School of Arts and Sciences. He is majoring in Public Policy and Political Science with a minor in Earth and Ocean Sciences. Spencer is the Co-Chair of the Duke Program in American Grand Strategy, a research assistant for two professors, and is leading a Bass Connections research team on the risks of the Mission to Mars next year. Spencer is also a member of a selective living group called Cooper. In his free time, he watches Star Trek and writes a weekly newsletter called News of the Jews.
