Laura is a sophomore from King of Prussia, PA. She is majoring in graphic design at Drexel's Westphal college. She is a member of Latinos for a United Campus and Community Student Union. She enjoys making just about anything, reading, and getting to meet new people!

Brandon is a junior working toward a Bachelor of Business Administration (BSBA) focused in Marketing with a minor in Spanish from Drexel University. He founded the first university chapter in the northeast of Prospanica and serves as the hub leader for the Hispanic Star campaign in Philadelphia. As a first-generation Latino, Brandon is an advocate for the Latinx community and is passionate about helping others.

Andrew is a rising junior at Drexel University. Born and raised in New York, Andrew is the first generation and is the first in his family to go off to college. He is pursuing two bachelors in Finance and Business Analytics from the Lebow Business School. He is the President and founder of the Drexel Chapter of Lambda Alpha Upsilon, the only latino fraternity at Drexel. Andrew is also on the E-board for Latinos for a United Campus, so he is very involved in the Latinx community at Drexel.

Grace is a junior from Jamison, PA studying marketing at the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University. She also has a minor in retail, and is pursuing co-ops in the fashion industry. She is currently working at a small bra company in Philadelphia. Outside of school she likes to embroider, read, and hang out with friends.

Mariah is originally from Coatesville, PA, and is in her 4th year out of 5 as a student of the Lebow College of Business at Drexel University. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with majors in Marketing and Organizational Management. She is also minoring in Spanish. Mariah is the President of Dragon's First, Drexel's student-run organization aiming to serve the First-Generation Low-Income student population. She is also a Marketing co-chair for the Drexel American Red Cross and plays in Drexel's Chamber and Symphony orchestras. Outside of school, she enjoys listening to music, sewing, and creating DIY projects!

Your host

Undergrad College: Harvard University '17

Major: Music

Graduate College: University of Michigan, M.M.

Work Experience: Now in my fourth year at CollegeVine, I have helped dozens of students gain acceptance to their top-choice schools and have also advised and mentored thousands more through my livestreams. Apart from my work at CV, I am also a professional conductor and a multi-instrumentalist. I currently serve as the music director of the Apollo Ensemble of Boston, and I have led symphonic concerts and operatic productions throughout the United States.

My Admissions Story: Initially interested in pursuing a career as a performing cellist, I applied almost exclusively to music schools with dual and double degree options and ultimately enrolled in the Tufts University/New England Conservatory Dual Degree Program. Unhappy with the combined program and worried I'd never feel like I was fully a student at either school, I logged back into CommonApp.org in October of my freshman year. I can't say I went about the transfer process in the smartest way (I only applied to two schools!), but Harvard miraculously accepted me (or 'excepted me' as I wrote in a celebratory Facebook post that day - no one ever let me live that one down), and the rest was history.
