Meet the panelists: Daniel, Megana, Andrea, Bijal

Daniel is rising senior at UCLA majoring in Statistics with a minor in Mathematics. He is involved in Bruin Consulting, a non-profit consulting organization as well as the Undergraduate Business Society. Outside of school, he enjoys rock climbing and cooking new types of food.

Megana is currently a fourth-year student at UCLA originally from Montgomery, New Jersey. She is studying Political Science and Global Health on the pre-law track. At UCLA, she serves as a Bruin Ambassador for the Office of Undergraduate Admission and assists in the recruitment of a diverse body of new students. Megana is also a senior staff National news and Higher Education reporter at UCLA's student newspaper, The Daily Bruin. She was previously the 2018-2019 assistant news editor at the paper.

Andrea is a senior from Palo Alto, California studying neuroscience at UCLA. Her research interests include neurosurgical epistemology and neurocritical care outcomes for ICU patients, which she studies at UCLA and Stanford respectively. When not in school, she usually can be found climbing rocks somewhere in California or taking care of her small jungle of plants.

Bijal is a fourth year from Fresno, California studying at UCLA. She is pursuing a BS in Anthropology with minors in both Global Health and Gerontology. Bijal serves as a Bruin Ambassador in UCLA’s Undergraduate Admissions office, is part of a probono healthcare consulting organization called Consult your Community, and is a communications assistant at UCLA’s Center for Health Policy Center. She hopes to pursue a career in healthcare administration. Outside of school, she enjoys traveling, spending time with loved ones, and taking photos.
