Meet the panelists: Benjamin, Sydne, Ram

Benjamin is a sophomore from Pittsburgh, PA in the Swanson School of Engineering. He is pursuing a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Chemistry and two certificates in Engineering for Humanity and Innovation, Product Design, and Entrepreneurship. Benjamin is an active member of SEMFS, a club that provides provides interactive lessons and demos in STEM topics to underserved and minority students in Pittsburgh. He is also a Jewish Ambassador through the Jewish Heritage Program. Outside of school, he enjoys performing in the CMU All University Orchestra as a trumpeter and spending (socially-distanced) time with friends.

Sydne is a sophomore from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania enrolled in the University of Pittsburgh’s Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences . She is double majoring in Psychology and Theatre Arts with a minor in Applied Statistics. She is a working actress/singer/instructor for numerous local theatre companies. Outside of school, Sydne loves to perform as well as spend time with her family and friends.

Ram is a sophomore from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the Dietrich Schools of Arts and Sciences of the University of Pittsburgh. Ram is Majoring in Ecology and will get certificates for Foundations of Medicine and Global Health. Ram is pursuing a career to become a Physician Assistant. Ram is apart of the Physician Assistants club at Pitt which gives other students insights on what it means to become a PA. Outside of school, he enjoys travelling, spending time with friend, and attending sporting events.
