🎙 Guest Moderator: Cesar Guerrero

Meet the panelists: Trinity, Rachel, Jamila, Natalie

Trinity is a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at UC San Diego graduating in June 2021. She is the Co-President of Engineers Without Borders at UCSD. She also does research on the Project Lim[b]itless team and writes articles for oSTEM. Outside of school, she is a CAD intern at SolidProfessor and runs UMforBLM, an anti-racism education initiative. She loves reading, music, and Avatar: The Last Airbender.

Rachel is a senior at UC San Diego. She is pursuing a degree in Marine Biology and a minor in Climate Change Studies at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Rachel was Co-President of Engineers Without Borders for the 2019-2020 academic year and has been an active member since starting college. Rachel also serves as Vice President of the Scripps Education Association. Outside of school, she enjoys spending time playing basketball, engaging in outdoor activities like going to the beach, and reading.

Jamila is a rising senior at the University of California San Diego. She is a Sociology B.A. Candidate with a concentration in Law and Society and a minor in Dance. Jamila is the president of the Mock Trial team at UC San Diego and the Senator of Social Sciences for Associated Students. She also attends an ABA-Approved Paralegal Certification Program at UCSD's Extension School and is currently in the process of applying to law schools. Outside of school, she enjoys watching movies, playing board games, and doing her nails.

Natalie is a rising junior from San Diego, California. She is pursuing a Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics and a minor in Data Science. Natalie works as a Tutor and a Learning Strategist at the Teaching + Learning Commons at UCSD, is the Director of Technical and Professional Development for a humanitarian organization called Engineers Without Borders, an active member and a project manager for a nonprofit organization called International Health Collective, and a mentor for the Global Ambassador Program at UCSD. Outside of school, she enjoys rewatching favorite tv shows, hiking, and spending time with friends and family.
