Meet the panelists: Lee, Carissa, Evan, and Arthur

Lee is a senior from Los Angeles, California. She is majoring in Pubic Health and minoring in Business Management and Social Entrepreneurship. Lee serves as a Peer Health Educator, campus representative and tour guide, and is an active member of her sorority, Chi Omega. She has also spent time studying health systems abroad in Cape Town, South Africa and Tel Aviv, Israel. Outside of school, Lee loves being outdoors, playing tennis, and trying new restaurants with friends.

Carissa is a senior from Seattle, Washington in the School of Science and Engineering. She is pursuing a B.S in Chemical Engineering. Carissa currently serves as Vice President of Tulane’s American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) chapter, and as Service Chairman for Theta Tau, the professional engineering fraternity. Carissa enjoys painting, hiking, and cooking in her free time.

Evan is a senior from Columbus, Ohio in the School of Liberal Arts and School of Science and Engineering. He is pursuing a dual degree in Economics (BA) and Mathematics (BS), as well as a coordinate major in Musical Cultures of the Gulf South. He is currently conducting independent research on the economic effects of risky health behaviors, that he hopes to be published in an academic journal. Evan is an active member of Tulane’s Omicron Delta Epsilon, as well as a competitive ultramarathon runner. Outside of school, he enjoys camping in his vintage travel trailer, hiking, singing karaoke, and mountain biking.

Arthur is a junior from New Orleans, Louisiana. He is studying cellular and molecular biology and computer science. He works in IT at Tulane and is a member of juggling club and Tulane's Vietnamese Association. In his free time, he enjoys playing music and video games.
