Admissions Advice

What is this?

Hi, there's a coursework part when calculating our admission chances, i don't know what that means. I'd appreciate it if you'd explain it. (From Turkey)

Hi @capog! Our chancing engine takes a number of things into account when calculating your chances of acceptance across different colleges. One of the pieces that colleges consider when making admissions decisions is the difficulty of the courses you took throughout your time in high school. Generally, colleges like to see students that challenge themselves academically by taking more difficult courses (IB courses are a great example of this!) By asking you to list the number of courses you've taken at various levels (AP/IB, Honors, and College Courses taken at a local college), we can better estimate your chances of acceptance at the colleges on your list.
