SAT Worry
Answered

I'm currently a junior and the SAT is coming up fast. What is a good PSAT score so that I can know what to aim for on the actual test?

Any PSAT score is good as long as you do your very best! To predict your SAT score, just add about 100 points (give or take) to your PSAT score to calculate what you'd likely get on the SAT (I used a calculator program to predict this). As a matter of fact, on my PSAT, I got an exact 1200, and on a mock SAT that I took, I got a 1290 (this is without studying at all before or in-between the tests). However, If you're looking for a specific gauge to get into a specific college, you can utilize CollegeVine's tools to analyze just that! Hope this helped! :)

A good PSAT score is subjective, but typically within 100 points of what you are aiming for on the SAT. If you're concerned about your scores you should definitely take a few practice tests. They've already helped me go from a 1270 on a mock test to a 1420 on another.
