What happens when I write a note while networking? Does the same note go to all the schools I connect with?

I was connecting to schools on my list, and the option to write a note popped up, and as I was connecting to Yale at that time, I wrote a Yale specific note. Now I am confused whether all the colleges are getting the same note. If this is happening, is there a way I can stop this from happening?
