How does the process differ for older applicants?

I’m in my 20s, I am late applying for colleges as I suffered from severe anxiety and depression (which also affected my grades in high school and caused me to want to drop out - my therapist and school counselors and family worked together to make me a special academic plan that involved taking extra courses on e-school in order to graduate a year early), as well as serious medical issues, which I’ve only just gotten to a manageable place. I’m a lot more mature now and feel more confident in my ability to handle school. How does the application process differ for older students?

My brother was older when he applied for college (21) and he got in no problem. So I don't think applying late has any affect on if you can get in or not. If you have taken the ACT or SAT then you are good. Keep up the good work. :)
