I have already submitted all of my applications, so now I'm just waiting to hear back from colleges. I'm actually doing really well this semester (all As), and the first grading period (R1) for my school is coming up. I asked my high school counselor if he is willing to send schools my R1 grades, and he said he'll gladly submit them over the Common App. The only problem is that I'm afraid that the colleges will have already reviewed my app and made a decision without seeing my R1 grades. I wasn't the greatest student from 9-11th grade, so I would think my R1 grades would help quite a bit. If my high school counselor submits them (let's say March 7th), would the colleges see them and factor them into my application? Thank you!
Sometimes colleges don't look at your R1 grades sadly but if you bring them up to your college then they will look at them and take them into consideration. That is the only thing you need to do. And to solidify it even more you can point out where you started getting all A's and say that is when you changed your mindset and decided you were going to go to college. So really it is simple to get them to look at it and should not be a problem and yes it should help you get into college. Keep up the good work. :)

Thank you! Would I need to email the office of admissions to tell them?
