How should I prepare for the ACT Science section?

I didn't know that the ACT had a science section until after I already signed up for it. How should I prepare for it? Is it similar to AP Biology type questions? Do I need a lot of background science knowledge? What topics should I focus on?

No, you don't need a lot of background science knowledge. The ACT Science section mainly consists of interpreting graphs and charts. It is pretty simple compared to AP science courses. There are a few questions that require scientific knowledge, but it is very basic knowledge like what H2O represents. I would recommend looking up science practice problems online to get used to the format. Most of them are free and super helpful!
