Political Campaign Opportunities

Hi, I am a sophomore and I’m interested in politics and law. However, I’ve been trying to get involved this year in political campaigns, but have had a lot of trouble doing so. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to possibly get an internship or how to volunteer for a political campaign, Thank you in advance!!

You can also, in addition to what was already said, sign up to canvass or phonebank (don't require an application). Phonebanking can be done remotely and many campaigns definitely need the service especially with the lack of actual events. Think local or state legislature races: those are the ones most in need of volunteers (so you'd have a high chance of getting accepted).

Send your resume to the campaign. I recommend going for the local level (i.e. state offices for national campaigns, Congressional campaigns, etc.). In your email, express your passion for the issues detailed on the politician's website.

I hope this helps. Enjoy your day and stay healthy.
