Hi. I'm a senior this year who just heard back from all of her colleges. I got into some good ones and am thankful for that. But I got rejected from the Roski school at USC. I wasn't considering writing an appeal letter at first because I hadn't accomplished anything huge within the period of waiting to hear back from schools. I know that this year a lot of top schools had a huge increase in admissions. So I wanted to ask anyone if they think writing an appeal is even worth it at this point. And if so what should I put in it?
Hi there, congrats on getting into some good colleges! I'm sorry about the USC rejection. As for your question, appealing a decision is almost never worth it, unless you've accomplished something truly major or you think there was a mistake on your application. Here's a blog post about it: https://blog.collegevine.com/how-do-i-appeal-my-admissions-decision/
I hope this helps!
