Converting Unweighted GPA To Weighted for Transfer App

I am currently in the process of transferring to another school and, after some research, the school’s average accepted applicant has a 4.09 GPA. What GPA would this be on a 4.0 scale for a college GPA? Mine is a 3.71 on a 4.0 scale and I don’t know if this is competitive compared to accepted applicants.

CollegeVine has a GPA converter on their blog site that may be able to provide you with some clarity on this: https://blog.collegevine.com/how-to-convert-your-gpa-to-a-4-0-scale/

It seems like the school may use a 5.0 GPA scale so I would try to confirm this with the school before attempting to convert it for accuracy purposes. Hope this helps!
