Passion project

By the idea of passion projects and how high school students could create an impact is something that I am really interested in. I’ve been thinking about starting a website about topics I love relating to STEM to inspire others and to increase math proficiency. Yet, I have difficulties in terms of starting a website cause I am not these best at coding and I don’t think I am the only one who has problems like this. To anyone who reads this, is there any tips that you would give in terms of starting a website ?

Codecademy is a great website to learn how to code with and has lessons for lots of languages. There are also tons of videos online that can help with coding, sitemaps, and how to get the website up and running.

My advice for the website is to narrow down a problem you can identify and how you would use your website as the solution (eg to increase math proficiency). Think about the intended audience and age range, types of features (games, lessons, resources, etc), and how you will make it user-friendly. Hope this is helpful!
