So I am about to register for next years classes and in spanish I have a 95% (an A is 93%) but am jampacked with AP courses. Should I do honors Spanish?
I would say yes if you think you can handle it or you want to major in cultural studies or work in spain/latin america or you are in a predonimantly latino community.
best i can say is that a lot of colleges want to see 4 years of a language on an application, so if you're planning on applying to top schools, you should make sure that you'll have taken 4 years of Spanish by the end of senior year. if this would take you beyond that, then i think it's fine to ignore it, but if you need this to get to 4 units (however your school does it—with block schedules it might only take two years, but at most places it'll take 4), you should take it.
To keep this community safe and supportive:
as opposed to AP Spanish or as opposed to taking no Spanish at all?
