Admissions Advice

I am going into my junior year next year and have not been active in any extracurricular. How can I fix this?

I am currently a sophomore in high school and am not the best student. I have decent grades (3.1 GPA) but I have only participated in one extra-curricular activity so far, which is an on-campus sports team. Due to the virus, I have not been going to school for the past month, which kind of bummed me out because I had joining a volunteer club in mind. I am scared that since my grades are only decent that I won't be a very strong applicant for college. Is there anything that I can do to improve this? If so, can you please inform me on what I can do, as well as maybe recommend me on where I can do extracurricular activities, or just be informed? Thank you.

A good at home extra curricular right now would be to phonebank for a political party. You may want to consider picking one extra curricular, such as a job, and putting a lot of time in it. Colleges like to see what your passionate about.
